Because They Have Songs

The product of a collaboration with composer Edward Cowie, the double CD features 24 new works for saxophone and piano. Gerard uses sopranino, soprano and alto saxophones. Edward Cowie was inspired by birds from Botswana, Africa and his beautiful original manuscripts, featuring sketches of some of the birds are included in the CD booklet.
